Information you give us

When you fill out a form on our site (contact, catering inquiry, franchise application, fundraiser application, newsletter signup, or gift card purchase), we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share.

Automatically collected data

Like most websites, our servers automatically log your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent. We use this solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. We do not sell or share this data.

We use minimal first-party cookies and browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as your preferred location). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services embedded on our site (Toast for gift cards and ordering, Google Maps for directions) may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.

Payment information

We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries and applications; to process gift card and catering orders; to send you email updates you opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time); to improve the website and our services; and to comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate our services (e.g., our email platform, Toast for payment processing) or as required by law.

Email opt-out

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly at privacy@bromemoderneatery.com to be removed.

Access and deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@bromemoderneatery.com and we will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@bromemoderneatery.com.

We retain contact form submissions and newsletter subscriptions until you request deletion. Catering and franchise inquiry records are retained for up to three years for business and legal purposes. Application records for franchise and careers are retained for two years.

Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our website contains links to third-party sites (Toast, Google Maps, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, ezCater, and others). Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on our homepage or communicated by email if you are subscribed.
